TallyZap Support

Support for TallyZap users

Need a hand? Email TallyZap Support and we’ll help you get back to work.

Contact support

Email support@tallyzap.ca. We aim to reply within two business days. This is a response target, not a guaranteed resolution or account-deletion completion time.

To help us resolve your issue, include:

  • the email address used with TallyZap, if applicable;
  • your device model and operating-system version;
  • the TallyZap app version and build number; and
  • a short description of what happened and what you expected.

Do not email passwords, verification codes, Apple credentials, full payment-card details, or unredacted client financial records. Remove sensitive information from screenshots whenever possible.

Account deletion

You can initiate TallyZap account deletion in the app. You can also send an account or personal-information deletion request to support@tallyzap.ca without opening or reinstalling the app.

  1. Sign in to TallyZap and open Settings.
  2. Choose the account-deletion option and follow the confirmation prompts.
  3. If Sign in with Apple requires renewed authorization, follow the on-screen instructions.

Email support@tallyzap.ca with the subject “TallyZap account deletion.” If possible, write from the email address associated with your account. If you cannot access that address, explain this in your request. Identity verification may be required. Do not send passwords, verification codes, identity documents or full payment-card details by email.

Sending an email request does not immediately delete the account or every stored copy of its data. In-app deletion removes the sign-in identity and access, but cloud business records and backed-up files may remain. See the Privacy Policy for these limits. Removing the app from your device does not delete your cloud account.

Account deletion does not cancel a subscription billed through an app store. Manage any subscription separately through the store that bills you. For Apple purchases, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You may request account deletion while arranging subscription cancellation.

Sign-in help

Email sign-in

  • Use the same email address that requested the verification code.
  • Check spam and filtered folders.
  • Request a new code if the previous one expired.

Sign in with Apple

  • Use the Apple ID originally connected to your TallyZap account.
  • If Apple hides your email, check the relay address in your Apple ID settings.

Voice, receipts, photos, and files

If voice processing or an upload fails:

  • confirm that your internet connection is available;
  • check the device permissions needed for the feature, such as microphone, camera, photos or Contacts, in your device settings;
  • confirm you are signed in and can open the relevant project;
  • for an interrupted voice entry, open Voice Inbox and review any recovered transcript or draft. Retry if that option is available. If transcription did not complete and no usable transcript remains, you may need to record the entry again;
  • close and reopen TallyZap if needed; and
  • contact support if the issue continues.

Scopes, estimates, and invoices

  • Open a project and use its workflow to create or review Scope, Estimate, and Invoice documents.
  • Saved PDFs appear in that project's Documents section.
  • Review client details, pricing, taxes, dates, and payment terms before sharing a PDF.
  • TallyZap records payments but does not process card or bank transactions.

Privacy requests

For access, correction, deletion, consent or other privacy questions, contact Robert Malinowski, Privacy Officer, at privacy@tallyzap.ca or support@tallyzap.ca. See the Privacy Policy for details.
